When words like "marketing" were still to be mentioned, let alone heard of and necessity was made a virtue, the best sweets were made using ingredients that were to hand. So, in the time-honoured tradition of the Langhe, torrone began to be produced, making a mixture of the right consistency to amalgamate our magnificent hazelnuts, of unequalled quality.
